The Annual 'Oops I Haven't Updated This in Forever' Post

I am back, from my walkabout in the wilds of corporate business, and what I have seen would freeze you dead in your tracks. But, I have also been to the islands of social media and they are fertile, with opportunity everywhere.

Corporate America had me setting up backup solutions for all over the US, Canada, and China. I produced FAR more official documentation and unofficial notes than I ever care to do again without owning the company. And, while all this was going on, with oh, so much more exciting stuff, I was balancing keeping North of the Falls cash solvent, and setting up Tomorrowish and developing a new project for Twitter called TweePLayer to integrate live twitter chat and time shifted shows.

But, now I am on my own back into the entrepreneurial sector full time. I am going back through all my old sites, refreshing, re-purposing, and reminding myself of where everything is and what to do with it. There will be more info in the future about the restructuring of all my sites, and I will be announcing a twitter project this or next week to help solve some problems that led to #cnnfail.

See you soon, or at least sooner.

Hmmmm... SXSW

Had a great tweetup the other night at John Harvards in Harvard Sq, Cambridge. Met some creative, intelligent people in the social media sector, and even ran into a couple people I met at PodCamp Boston.

Amy Greenlaw aka girlgamy who I met at Podcamp was there and told me about an inteeresting panel that she is trying to get set up at SXSW 2009 about how social media impacts todays politics. This is something I am naturally interested in since my web start-up project Tomorrowish will have a major portion devoted to political promises and the ever constant of predictions of pundits. I signed up to leave a comment on the SXSW board specifically to add my support for the panel and I am seriously considering going to SXSW for the first time.
